Soooo.. My best friend in the whole, wide world is getting married on New Years Eve = the most epic New Years party ever!!!
I'm a girl who's obsessed with love, romance and of course weddings! So to get to be a part of such an exciting and beautiful time in my best friend's life is quite overwhelming, but in a good way obviously.. Today she had a fitting to make minor adjustments to her dress, although it already fits like a glove. The dress is absolutely stunning!! I don't know if you can tell, but I'm getting EXCITED!!! I've already got my dress, shoes and accessories for the wedding, and I literally can't wait to get all dolled up. My dress is literally a red carpet gown, with train and all. This coming New Years will be my princess moment (without outshining the bride hehe)..
It's kind of strange to think that someone so close to you is making such a big commitment at such a young age (I'm ssssoooooooo happy for her. No doubt). When we first met at the age of eleven I don't think that either of us expected that our friendship would grow deeper and evolve over the years, although I'm SO glad it has, and I'm positive that it will continue to do so. It's a very special thing. To share such a close and strong bond with someone you've known half your life and to go through these major life events with. High school graduation, birthdays, college graduations, marriage, kids etc.. I have quite a few friends that I've known either all my life, half my life or somewhere in between and I honestly don't know how I got the privilege to meet and befriend these people..
Anyway. What I wanted to say was that I'm so happy and excited for Matilda (my best friend and the bride to be..). The fact that we've shared so much together over the past eleven years, both the good, the bad and the ugly. To me that's evidence enough that we really will be friends fo' lajf.
I love you so, so much and I can't wait to embark on this new, exciting journey with you.
