I've previously mentioned that my gorgeous friend Matilda will be tying the knot with her love this coming New Years Eve. So myself, two of her other good friends and older sister had been secretly planning her bachelorette party for weeks. On saturday (December 6th 2014), we four girls snuck into their apartment and surprised M with a BANG! We brought wine and a sandwich. Poor M was so disoriented it took her a while to get dressed and gain consciousness haha. We put a blindfold on her, and brought a pink, sparkly cowboy hat and matching pink feather boa.
Our first stop on the agenda was the Hotel Clarion Sign, in Skanstull. There we enjoyed the pool and sauna (not me! I hate saunas), we had fruits and their tea. We relaxed there for about 2,5 hours before showering and getting ready to then head down to the hotel brunch. Which I TOTALLY recommend. There was so much food, and everything was absolutely delicious! We sat and stuffed our faces (and talked) for close to 3,5 hours. YUM! When we left I think we were all half unconscious due to food coma!
Next we went to Odenplan where we met up with the rest of her good friends and we 13 girls enjoyed an hour long lesson of belly dancing (M was decked out in costume and all). It was hard, and I'm an old dancer myself so I'd like to think I still have some flow left, but belly dancing is on a level of it's own. It was fun though! And man if you do it regularly... hello abs!
The stop after that on our agenda was to go home to one of M's friends who also co-organised the whole thing. We had a superb dinner which consisted of vegetarian lasagna, sallad and an incredible frozen lemon cake for dessert. For drinks we had wine and mojitos. The night ended with a trip to Göta Källare (a club). However we all had an early night because we were so tired. All in all we had a great time, and I think M had a blast too, which after all is the most important part right?!
Now we're all waiting with anticipation for wedding day to arrive (New Years Eve!!), and it's only about three weeks away. How crazy is that?! I can't wait!!! :)
