...And man has it been a chase...
So a few weeks prior to New Years Eve I placed an order on the Paperchase website. In case you're not familiar with Paperchase they make the most beautiful stationary the human eye has ever seen. Literally. I ordered a calender/planner/agenda/whateveryoucallit for 2015 for myself and a gorgeous wedding memories album for M seeing as she got married on NYE. Since we live in a digital age and we don't shy away from sharing every aspect of our lives on the Internet, I thought it would be nice for them to have an actual, physical album for them to be able to look back on. A wedding is an incredibly special day and deserves an album to keep all the wonderful memories in.. + what happens when Facebook/Instagram/other social media platforms aren't around anymore? All the pictures will be gone!
Yes, it's fun to share those things online. It's easy and fast to keep friends and family updated on what's going on in your life, but there's nothing quite like a physical picture in an album or a frame or bulletin board..
...Anyway there must have been some sort of mix up because since Paperchase is a UK based company, they must have lost my address somehow even though I typed it into the website as they do home delivery..
It took forever for me to get the package (almost a month), instead of 2-5 days... Yep.. After multiple e-mails etc. I finally collected the package at a supermarket near my place..
I'm not going to lie. Attending your best friend's wedding (as a bridesmaid) sans gift, is quite embarrassing. Haha, but she was understanding.
I finally got to give it to M on Friday when we met up for a night on the town and she absolutely loved it. It's not just a regular album, it has a family tree for you new family, you get to fill in details on the dress, engagement, proposal, honeymoon etc. It definitely made it worth the wait seeing as she liked it so much!
I will probably order more stuff from them again, after making sure that they have my full address. HAHA. The customer service was great too. So definitely check their website. You won't regret it!
