Hey ya'all!
Long time no speak!
My life has been pretty hectic these past few weeks, but I love it!
In my last post I mentioned meeting some new friends at an AW event, and since then we've hung out like 3-4 times a week. There's been AW, couchsurfing fika, nights out and dinners.
Besides hangin' with the best gang ever, I've been applying for jobs/working etc. Oh the struggle..
It was pretty hilarious on Thursday, I went out with my new friends (I've bonded the most with Noor. #Swedishtwin). I invited my friend Sudharshan to come along and he brought a couple of his friends. At one point I went outside to get some air with my friend Nico, and when I came back in Noor was talking to Sudharshan and his friend Kerim (who recognized Noor from their high school). I gave Noor a big hug and she was like:
"OMG GAITHRI! I neeeeeeeeeddddddddd to introduce you to these two guys!" I countered with no you don't Sudharshan is like my best friend, we've known each other for 10 years and this is his friend Kerim, and they're at this bar because I told them to come. LOL!
We spent the rest of the evening joking about the situation..
On Friday Noor and I went to S's place for dinner and drinks. Sudharshan and Kerim cooked dinner for us (and breakfast the next morning), and we played an epic drinking game and were laughing all night. It was a great evening!
Yesterday was easter and I had an incredible meal with my parents at my grandparent's and then went to meet my new girl friends (including Noor) for drinks. I had an early night and was home by midnight. Haven't slept a lot this past week so it was nice to catch up on some beauty sleep.
I'm so excited to have met Noor and the rest of the gang. I've known them for 2,5 weeks now, but I feel like I've known Noor for two years. Talk about connection.
Can't wait to have more epic parties/dinners/hang out with this awesome group of people (from every corner of the world), and to introduce them to all my other friends :)
